Healthy Youth Act : Real People, Real Stories

Monday, June 18th

5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Unitarian Universalist Church of Worcester
90 Holden St

Every young person has the right to information that helps them stay healthy. School-based comprehensive sex education empowers young people with the information and skills they need to make healthy decisions and build healthy relationships. In Massachusetts, however, there is no guarantee our young people are receiving medically accurate, age appropriate, and inclusive sex education, leaving young people vulnerable to the myths and misinformation found in pop culture and online. Worcester-area parents, educators, and teens will share their personal stories and experiences with sex education—the good and the bad—and underscore the urgent need to pass the Healthy Youth Act. Come hear their stories!
